About Test Coverage Booster

A coverage percentage says how much code ran, not where the missing tests hurt. This plugin starts from the report you already have and points test effort at the riskiest untested code.

/find-gaps reads lcov, Istanbul JSON, Cobertura XML or Go coverage profiles and ranks files by risk. It weighs untested lines and branches, recent git changes, complexity and public API. It also lists source files no test loads, which most reports silently leave out.

/add-tests <file> hands the gaps to a test-writer subagent. It detects your framework (Jest, Vitest, node:test, Mocha, pytest, Go, Rust, JUnit, RSpec, PHPUnit, .NET) and copies your folders, naming, assertions and mocking style. It covers edge cases, uses no network, no real time and no unseeded randomness, runs the tests twice, and reports suspected bugs instead of bending tests to fit them. /test-plan <feature> writes a plan from the real code, with risks, cases by test level and open questions.

Inside: three commands, the test-writer agent, a skill, a Node.js helper, framework and edge-case references, and a sample project. On it, the plugin took a pricing module from 58% to 100% line coverage and found two real bugs.

Limits: it needs a coverage report and your test framework installed, and JaCoCo XML must be converted first.
