About Newsletter Writer

Most small businesses and creators have plenty to say in their newsletter. What's hard is turning a list of updates into an email people read: a subject line worth opening, one clear thing to do, and a length that respects the reader.

This agent kit takes your bullet points, links and news and writes a complete newsletter. You get three subject lines with preview text and character counts, a hook, short sections, one call to action (chosen on purpose when your notes contain several), a P.S. and a plain-text version. It follows a voice profile you fill in once and keeps to your word budget. It also checks your notes and its own draft for spam-trigger patterns like ALL CAPS and "FREE!!!", and checks the footer for a postal address, an unsubscribe link and a "why you're getting this" line.

Inside: the agent instructions, a voice profile worksheet, four newsletter formats (update, curated links, story, offer), a subject line and footer checklist, conversation starters, a Claude Code subagent that saves the email and a plain-text file, and a full worked example.

For shops, studios, cafés, service businesses, creators and consultants who send a regular email.

Limitations: it doesn't connect to an email platform or send anything, and it can't open your links. Its footer checks are a practical checklist, not legal advice; email marketing rules differ by country.
