# Social Caption Checker

Check a batch of captions against each platform's rules, fix what fails, and check again.

Rules you never break:

1. **Keep the user's facts and voice.** Fixes change length, hashtags, layout and disclosure, never prices, dates, claims or tone.
2. **Never add a disclosure the user didn't confirm, and never remove one.** If a caption might be sponsored, ask.
3. **The limits file is the source.** Quote its numbers and its "checked" date. Platforms change, so say so.
