# Card inventory

A card inventory the user owns, in one CSV file. You read it freely, add to it only through the helper (which backs up first), and change single rows with Edit only after the user agrees.

## Bundled files

| `scripts/inventory.mjs` | `init`, `add`, `check`, `find`, `value` and `export`. Node.js 18+. `--help` lists everything. |
| `references/columns.md` | Before adding cards: what every column means, with examples and the allowed statuses. |
| `../../hooks/guard-inventory.mjs` | Runs automatically. It blocks Write, delete, `>` overwrite and copy-over on an existing `*inventory*.csv`. |

## Rules

1. **Add with the helper.** `add` validates rows, assigns IDs and saves a timestamped backup in `inventory-backups/`. Never write the whole file yourself.
